Who we are

An established, accountable operator

Philip Brown Group Limited is a Ghanaian-owned and Ghanaian-managed company registered at Kumasi and governed under the Companies Act, 2019 (Act 992). The Group operates across mining, oil and gas, technology, real estate, agriculture and commerce.

Every business runs under a single standard of governance: formal contracting, documented health, safety and environmental practice, and clear accountability for each obligation the Group takes on — as owner, operator, developer or joint-venture partner.

Our mission

To build and operate businesses in Ghana to international standards — creating durable value for partners, employment and opportunity for our communities, and reliable service for the customers we supply.

Our vision

To be recognised as one of Ghana's most trusted diversified companies: a dependable domestic operator that international partners choose first when they enter the market.

Sustainability & community

Operating in a way communities and regulators can live with

Local content and employment

Crews, supervisors and support staff recruited from the communities around our sites, with work kept in Ghanaian hands wherever the capability exists.

Health and safety

Hard hats, high-visibility clothing and respiratory protection as standard on every site, with supervised access to underground and plant areas.

Environmental practice

Documented obligations on land use, water and rehabilitation, discharged through licensed counterparties rather than informal arrangements.

Community and traditional authority

Chieftaincy engagement, landowner negotiation and community consent resourced in house — resolved before work begins, not after.

Investor relations

Why capital partners invest with the Group

We are open to partners across every division — on formal terms, with full disclosure and licensed counterparties only.

  • Equity participation
  • Joint ventures
  • Project finance
  • Offtake and supply

Local execution, de-risked

Capital partners fund and govern; the Group secures land, permits, community consent and delivery on the ground. The failure points that stall projects in Ghana are ours to solve.

Diversified across six sectors

Exposure is not tied to one commodity or one cycle. Gold, fuel retail, property, technology and agriculture sit under a single, coordinated management structure.

Named partners, live programmes

Tano Petroleum's exploration programme across a 6,460.85 km² licence area, and First Dove Limited — mining concessions, retail stations and IT infrastructure delivered.

Structured for foreign capital

Joint ventures, equity participation, project finance or offtake — structured with formal agreements, disclosed affiliates and licensed counterparties only.

Local standing

Standing that moves projects

In Ghana, land access, community consent, chieftaincy engagement and local political alignment delay projects more often than finance or technology. Resolving those matters early — and being trusted locally while doing so — is the specific capability international partners engage the Group to provide.
